The Lib-Scan Handheld is a combined read-, write and data processing terminal. The unit exists of 2 parts, a small tablet computer with shoulder strap and a light antenna.
The antenna, connected to the handheld with a small cable, is moved close to the materials. The major advantage of a separate antenna is weight reduction, additional advantage its that you can easy reach high or low placed materials!
The possibilities of the Lib-Scan in combination with the Lib-Chip™ software, are almost unlimited, you can easily take inventory, trace wrongly placed materials, search specific materials, convert the RF-ID tags etc, etc. and this all without physical contact.
You can programme search-criteria on the handheld computer. The software is Windows (.net)-based and data up- and download is by infra red, USB or wireless. The unit reads Philips I-Code, I-Code SLI, Mifare TI, Tag-IT, Infineon, etc, etc,
Unique is the Wifi on-line functionality. With the on-line application it is also possible to check-out and check-in your library items.
The Lib-Chip™ hard and software solutions are exclusively produced for use with library material on ISO standards. |
